La Reserva Tigra

On Santa Marta island in Colombia, there is a precious ecological area named the Sierra Nevada, stretching from snow-capped mountains to the white sand beach. These densely-forested slopes are home to immense biodiversity as well as an indigenous population, the Kogi people. For over a decade, EnlightenMint's partner project La Reserva Tigra has been building a sanctuary for the protection of local biodiversity and exploration of agroforestry, as well as building strong relationships with their neighbors the Kogi people. Proceeds from this NFT collection will help fund the purchase of a 70 hectare parcel of land for agricultural use by 10 young Kogi families, planting cacao and other native species.
